On December 11, the City Stock Exchange. Ho Chi Minh has announced information related to stock transactions of people related to OCB internal shareholders.

Before making the transaction, Ms. Nguyen Viet Trieu held 5,992 million OCB shares (including 3,994 million freely transferable shares and 1,997 shares as stock dividends awaiting transaction).

Ms. Nguyen Viet Trieu’s transaction was carried out from November 16, 2023 to December 7, 2023 by order matching method through the exchange.

After the transaction, Ms. Nguyen Viet Trieu holds 5.492 million OCB shares, including 3.494 million freely transferable shares and 1.997 million shares as stock dividends waiting to be traded, corresponding to a ratio of 0.267%. calculated according to the amount after dividends.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ngo Ha Bac is holding 12,877 million shares (including 8,584 million freely transferable shares and 4,292 shares are stock dividends waiting to be traded, accounting for 0.627%.

Thus, after making the transaction, Mr. Ngo Ha Bac and his wife currently hold 18,369 million OCB shares, including 12,079 million freely transferable shares and 6,289 shares as pending stock dividends. transactions, accounting for 0.894% of equity at OCB (down 0.025%).

This is the 4th time this year Ms. Nguyen Viet Trieu registered to sell OCB shares. Previously, Ms. Trieu also registered to sell 500,000 OCB shares to serve her personal financial needs. However, because the stock price did not meet expectations, Ms. Trieu never sold the full number of registered shares.

Specifically, from June 9 to July 8, Ms. Nguyen Viet Trieu registered to sell 500,000 shares but only sold 495,000 shares. From April 14 to May 13, Ms. Trieu only sold 205,000 shares out of 500,000 registered shares. From January 10 to February 8, only 500,000 shares out of 1 million shares were sold.

On the stock market, based on the closing price of the trading session on November 7 of 14,100 VND/OCB share, Ms. Trieu earned more than 7 billion VND from selling shares of this bank.

Regarding the business situation, at the end of the first 9 months of 2023, OCB recorded total net revenue of 6,921 billion VND, an increase of 17.6% over the same period in 2022.

Of which, interest income reached 5,434 billion VND, non-interest income increased by 94.6% to 1,487 billion VND and contributed 21% to total net revenue. OCB’s cost/revenue ratio (CIR) decreased to 32.1% while the same period in 2022 was at 39.4%.

Thus, after 9 months, OCB recorded pre-tax profit of VND 3,915 billion, an increase of 47.8% over the same period in 2022.

As of September 30, 2023, OCB’s total assets reached VND 216,755 billion, an increase of 11.7% compared to the beginning of the year. In particular, outstanding debt in market 1 also increased by 10.8% compared to the end of 2022, reaching 136,105 billion VND, completing 92% of the 2023 plan.

OCB’s total production and business disbursement in the first 9 months of the year reached 235% of the accumulated plan, the production and business balance increased by 119% compared to the same period in 2022.
